Town of PeterboroughPLANNING BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Please be advised that that at its meeting on Monday, November 24, 2025, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Select Board meeting room of the Town House, the Planning Board will hold one public hearing, as follows: 6:00 PM - Public Hearings - Proposed Zoning Amendment: 1) Proposal: to revise the Lot Size requirements under Traditional Neighborhood Overlay Zone by: a. revising @245-15.3E3(b) i to read as: "10,000 square feet for one (1) or two (2) dwelling units, plus 5,000 square feet for each additional unit" in the Family District and as "5,000 square feet for one (1) dwelling unit, plus 2,500 square feet for each additional unit" in the General Residence District; and, b. to rescind@245-15.3E3(b) ii, & iii as they would be addressed through the replaced @245-15.3E3(b) i (above). How the zoning currently reads: How the zoning is proposed to change: This proposal would allow for multi-family structures in the Family District but only through Planning Board review and with strict conformance to the regulations of Traditional Neighborhood Overlay Zone. Copies of the proposed, amended Zoning Ordinance, code, and information on zoning work are available for public inspection in the Office of Planning & Building and can be found on the Town website.
